PRF
PRF is a revolutionary biomaterial derived from your own blood. This process involves the extraction and concentration of platelets, fibrin, and growth factors to harness the body's natural healing abilities
PRF At A Glance
Concerns
This treatment can aid with hair loss, under eye dark circles, hollowing, and wrinkles. PRF promotes collagen production to treat fine lines and wrinkles, volume loss, and overall skin texture.
Treatment Information
This treatment will require a blood draw to collect PRF. Topical numbing cream will be applied before treatment. The PRF can then be injected into the areas of concern.
Results
Results are seen around 4 to 8 weeks after the first injection and will continue to improve over the next 3 to 6 months. For best results, a series of 3 treatments are recommended spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart.
PRF Gel
PRF EZ Gel is PRF heated and cooled and turned into a filler like gel. Unlike dermal fillers that are synthetically derived, PRF gel is an all-natural, autologous bio stimulating and volumizing gel that is obtained from your own blood.
PRF Gel At A Glance
Concerns
This treatment can improve your skin’s tone and texture while treating the appearance of dark under eye circles, volume loss, fine lines and wrinkles on the face. PRF gel is loaded with proteins and growth factors which stimulate the natural production of elastin and collagen in treated areas.
Treatment Information
Treatment will require a blood draw to collect PRF then separated and subjected to a controlled cooling and heating process to create a natural gel filler. Topical numbing cream will be applied before treatment. The prepared PRF gel can be injected into multiple areas of the face for volume and extended biostimulation, including under the eyes, upper cheeks, and nasolabial folds.
Results
PRF gel allows for the prolonged release of growth factors and elastin to enhance the repair and rejuvenation of skin quality over the coming weeks. Results will continue to improve over the next 4 to 8 weeks. Most require 2 to 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
FAQs
-
PRP and PRF are very similar but do have distinct differences that make PRF more ideal in certain aesthetic applications.
-
Both come from your own blood. We draw your blood and process it to get PRP and PRF.
We are using the growth factors in your blood to stimulate regeneration in the area injected.
-
PRP processed at a higher speed for a longer period of time. This is done to separate all out all the cells from the platelets.
PRP has an anticoagulant that is part of the processing that keeps the blood concentrate thinned so as to have a longer time to inject the PRP.
PRF is processed at lower speed for less time. We do not separate all cells out and so PRF has concentrated platelets but also WBC, Mesenchymal stem cells.
PRF has no additives or anticoagulants The natural clotting happens in the blood drawn so it has to be injected fast or it will clot and prevent injection. Once it is injected into an area then the clot forms. Fibrin is part of the clot. This fibrin acts like a mesh that keeps the platelets in place so that the growth factors are released over 7-10 days.
